Pack 1537 Virginia Aquarium Winter 2025

We are excited to announce that our winter campout this year will be February 28-March 1 at the Virginia Aquarium in Virginia Beach. We will enjoy a special program tailored for cub scouts that explores marine life.

 

Sign up will close on January 27th. The aquarium’s overnight guide(https://virginiaaquarium.com/overnight-guide) has all the relevant details regarding what to expect and what to bring. Core details below:

 

Who: Scouts and siblings 5 and older. A parent/guardian must accompany and be responsible for their own child(ren)

 

Cost: The cost is $75 per scout/sibling and $50 per parent/chaperone

 

When: Doors open at 6:30 pm, programming begins at 7:00 pm. Guests must have all their belongings out of exhibit space by 8:00 am and in cars no later than 8:30 am. Included in the overnight fee is admission to the Aquarium on March 1st (opens at 9:00am)

 

Where: Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, 717 General Booth Blvd, Virginia Beach VA. Parking is free at the site.

 

Pre-Sleepover Event: We will pick a location for families who want to meet for dinner on Saturday evening in advance of the sleepover. This will be pay your own way, not a Pack-provided dinner. Note, dinner will not be provided at the sleepover

Medical forms must be in hand or emailed in advance to sarah.gleich@gmail.com. BSA medical forms A&B are required for all attendees (parent and child). A signed activity form is not required
